About Roxy & Press
Roxy is a primarily self-taught, intuitive painter specializing in her own style, deemed: "Contemporary Romantic Impressionism" by 300Magazine; utilizing aspects of Impressionism, Post-Impressionism, and Modern Abstract, resulting in the emergence of unique, idiosyncratic paintings exuding life, motion, and intrigue.
Her intention is to create paintings that deliver uplifting experiences for viewers by inviting them to escape from the vagaries of daily grind into an atmosphere of tranquility, beauty, and winsomeness and draw on it until they feel they can return with a more vivacious outlook. Life is full of challenge and all manner of ills. A few moments of sheer beauty, wonder or even whimsy is often enough to relieve the tension, remind us life is ultimately lovely, and put us back on track to soldier on.
